Our Role as Data Processor
When you use our managed hosting service, WeBuildLogic acts as a Data Processor under UK GDPR. You (the client) remain the Data Controller for any personal data your customers provide through your system.
- Your customers' data: Information your customers enter into your system (names, addresses, contact details) is controlled by you
- Our processing: We process this data on your behalf to provide the hosting service
- Your responsibility: You must ensure you have lawful basis to collect your customers' data
- Data Processing Agreement: Our Terms of Service include data processing terms as required by GDPR
Managed Service Access
As part of our managed hosting model, WeBuildLogic has ongoing access to your system and data. This access is necessary to provide our service and includes:
- Access to your database for backups, maintenance, and support
- Access to your admin panel to assist with support requests
- Access to system logs for troubleshooting
We will never:
- Share your business data with third parties (except hosting providers necessary to run the service)
- Use your data for marketing or sell it to anyone
- Access your data for any purpose other than providing and improving our service
Third-Party Hosting
Your system is hosted using third-party cloud infrastructure providers. These providers act as sub-processors and may include:
- Cloud application hosting platforms
- Database hosting services
- Content delivery networks
We select providers with strong security practices and appropriate data protection agreements in place. Some providers may be based outside the UK, in which case we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK GDPR.

Data Retention
While you're a client: We retain all your data for as long as you maintain an active subscription.
When you leave: Upon termination of your service:
- You receive a full export of your data within 14 days
- We delete your data from our systems within 30 days of your final day
- Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days
Marketing enquiries: If you submit a contact form but don't become a client, we retain your enquiry for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion.
International Transfers
Some of our hosting providers are based outside the UK. When data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms approved under UK GDPR.
